Anetic Aid’s International Sales Manager, Mike Pritchett, has been appointed as an Export Champion for the Department for International Trade’s Northern Powerhouse.
Export Champions are representatives of companies that have successfully sold overseas and who offer their expertise to encourage others to consider growing their international business through exporting.
Mike, who had a background in the NHS before joining Anetic Aid, has been spearheading the company’s export drive for 15 years. International sales are now approximately 25% of turnover, with a particularly strong presence in German markets.
He explains: ‘Our export model involves working with a network of distributors and their success is our success: the key is building strong relationships with them, understanding the specific needs of their individual markets and identifying the best ways to support them.
‘I am delighted to have been chosen for this role and look forward to sharing our experiences to promote and grow the UK’s exporting success.’
Based in Bradford and with a production facility on the South Coast, Anetic Aid has been designing, manufacturing and supplying equipment for a wide range of clinical environments for over 40 years.
